My husband and I decided early in 2018 that we needed to start planning for retirement and the first thing we needed to do was to find a community to live after retirement. We’ve always loved the San Diego area as a vacation spot, but had no idea what it would be like to live there. We met Jennifer and Joe Lerner from Legacy Realty Network in February 2018 and they immediately got work on our behalf. We were very impressed with their knowledge of the San Diego area and their ability to match our needs, goals and desires with the correct properties. It wasn’t an easy undertaking because we had specific requirements that made it difficult to find properties with the proper characteristics. Along the way, my husband and I also changed the priority of certain things that we were looking for in a property and Joe and Jen we able to adjust quickly and seamlessly so that we didn’t lose any time in our search. Adding to complexity of the situation was the fact that we were from out of town and we didn’t always know exactly or ahead of time when we would be available to go to San Diego to look at properties. Jen and Joe were always flexible and were able to accommodate to our schedule. In terms of the escrow process, they have a unique understanding of overall process and were able to work with all the stakeholders and orchestrate a very complicated real estate transaction to bring everything together and have escrow close in 30 days. In the end, we ended up purchasing a condo in La Jolla, 3 blocks from La Jolla Strand beach and WindandSea beach. This is one of the most beautiful places and unique beaches and coastlines I have ever seen in my life. Sitting on the beach and watching the sunset every evening is awe inspiring. The views, vistas, rocks, cliffs, sunsets are breathtaking. We are very happy with the way things turned and feel very blessed to have found this home and to have had the privilege of working with Jen and Joe. We are thankful for the time and hard work they put in to make this happen.
